Ruben Feurer

Creative Director, Co-Founder

Ruben Feurer is almost a digital native and he has the mindset of a concept developer. With his impressive track record in graphics, interactive communication and user experience design, he lives and breathes online technology in all shapes and forms. As the youngest team member, Ruben’s passion and drive proves to be contagious for the senior founders. His career launched like a rocket after he started an apprenticeship at Y&R, only 16 years old at the time. Just one year later he qualified for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in the category Digital. Today, he has come full circle working as art director at the multi-awarded digital hot shop Hinderling Volkart in Zürich. Ruben’s creativity has recently been recognized with several international awards for the project 360° Langstrasse, which has been named Site of the Year by Awwwards.com.

Lukas Bünger

Technical Director, Co-Founder

Lukas Buenger is a Programmer and Technical Director who codes his heart out. He studied computer science at the world renowned ETH Zürich, but he decided to quit as he felt attracted to a more practical approach. Compelled to developing user-centric technology, Lukas has continued to learn Actionscript, PHP, JavaScript and Python. He has since become one of the few talented and fast technical programming wizards with back- and front end knowledge in Switzerland. Combining all his skills it was no surprise digital agencies would vie for his attention. Lukas is currently working for the new digital agency Notch Interactive in Zürich as a programming allrounder. Previous engagements include freelance work for digital agencies such as Hinderling Volkart and companies such as Odlo and Credit Suisse. Moreover, Lukas claims over 4 years of experience in front end programming at Winterthur-based digital agency Centralway, formerly known as Netvision.

Fabian Keller

Managing Director, Co-Founder

Fabian Keller has a broad background in the fields of business administration, marketing and communication management. Being an early adopter, he has been using social media from the very beginning. Fabian has already managed medium and large companies to advance their social media strategies successfully. He is currently working as Planning and Social Media Director for the full-service digital agency Serranetga in Zürich. Previous engagements include the award-winning digital hot shop Hinderling Volkart (Strategic Planner & Social Media Manager) and various advertising agencies (Account Executive/Digital Strategist). Fabian has also been responsible for Switzerland’s largest online communities as Marketing & Community Manager for Axel Springer. Freelance consulting for startups with a focus on online business models and frequent stints as a guest lecturer for Crossmedia Communication at the University of Lucerne round off Fabian’s multi-faceted work experience.

Michael Kempf


The successful launch of a rocket depends very much on the job of exceptional engineers. Michael’s experience in developing front and back end technologies stretches across a diverse list of Web 2.0 applications. He has been applying his skills and expertise in HTML, PHP, JavaScript, ActionScript 3, C#, and Java for ten years. In addition to his work for Rocketfeed, Michael is administrating Unix and Linux machines to find the best solutions for his customers.

Philipp Dornbierer


From the idyllic Swiss mountains to Rocketfeed, Philipp continues to pursue his inspiration as an illustrator and graphic designer. After finishing the art school in Zürich with the help of his loyal dog, he has started an apprenticeship and he is now working at an agency. Under the moniker of Yehteh (original diction of Yeti) Philipp’s freelance work as an illustrator is trusted by renowned clients such as The New York Times and IBM.

Florian Tillmann


Florian’s interests lie in the curious intersection of arts, technology, and the written word. After completing his formal education in the USA and Germany, he moved to Berlin to dabble in film, TV, and advertising. A year at Hamburg’s renowned Texterschmiede Institute led him to pursue his career as a online copywriter for brands such as Microsoft and Phonak. Florian has a B.A. in Media Management / Communication.

Matthias Fasnacht

Motion Designer

Matthias is a creative with a broad range of talents. He plays different musical instruments, loves to draw, and he is coming up with imaginative ideas on a daily basis. Video cameras have been a passion for him ever since he shot his first shorts. Matthias is self-employed at his production firm INTOVISION for which he creates motion graphics, films, and sound design. With the company in its 10th year, he has done countless projects for small and big companies.

Rocketfeed ist the first online service created by Zürich based startup Blitzhirn GmbH. The startup has been founded in November 2011 to create top notch experiences with the user experience in the focus. The award winning team, Fabian Keller (Managing Director), Ruben Feurer (Creative Director) and Lukas Buenger (Technical Director) have more than 20 years of experience in the field of digital advertising, online services, communication and marketing. They previously worked in agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Netvision, Scholz & Friends and the digital hot shop Hinderling Volkart for clients such as Microsoft, Swisscom, Axel Springer, Sonova, Phonak, Sandman hotels, Ford Motors, IWC Watches.
